Petrol stake driver

A petrol stake driver is a portable post driver with a four-stroke engine that drives stakes and posts by striking them from above, without a tractor or hydraulic power pack. It is operated by one person and reaches slopes, narrow rows and plots that machinery cannot access.

Frequent questions

Manual or petrol stake driver?

With a manual stake driver, the operator supplies the effort, and output drops with thick stakes or hard ground. A petrol stake driver strikes with the engine: it drives posts up to 100 mm in a few seconds, without pre-drilling in most soils.

Which post diameter does each model take?

Farmer 80X, up to 80 mm; IBF-82X PRO, 20 to 82 mm; Farmer 100X, up to 100 mm, and 120 mm with the optional adapter.

Rent or buy a stake driver?

Renting suits a one-off job. If you drive posts every season, buying gives you the machine whenever you need it, with warranty and technical service. Iberfence offers financing tailored to each project.

Is a second-hand stake driver worth it?

Iberfence post drivers are sold new, with a 3-year warranty (see conditions), spare parts and our own technical service in Spain. If you are considering a used machine, check the condition of the engine and adapters, and that spare parts are available.

If you would like to see the post driver at work, contact us and a technician will arrange a free demonstration.
